I heard Rick Warren say recently: “All of our human problems come from a failure to understand God’s love.” Rick Warren (Radicalis Conference) If not 100% true, it certainly is close to that. I find that in my life and in dealing with the lives of others, most of our internal struggles (which lead to all kinds of emotional and relational problems) come from not understanding nor grasping the love God has for us. Paul prayed the following for the church in Ephesus: I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge — that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
