Enemies within the Family

What do you do when your enemies live in your own house?  “Don’t imagine that I came to bring peace to the earth! I came not to bring peace, but a sword. ‘I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. Sex & Money

In the Sermon of the Mount Jesus dealt with several issues. Among them was sex and money. In the topic of sex he dealt with adultery and divorce and said that we should do neither of them since they violate the law of love. For money he said "you cannot serve both God and money." Loving money will lead us to stealing, cheating, fraud, and anything else we can invent to take other people's money illegitimately. So Jesus taught us to love God supremely overall things and not to worry about our fame and about the things that unbelievers run after in order for us to be free from the love of money and the love of sexual gratification. Our bodies, our mind and our heart should belong to God.
